“Levy Cliff” HB 1059 Endorsed
At our February 8th, PTSA Meeting, by a unanimous vote, the Marvista PTSA endorsed delaying the “levy cliff” to allow state legislators to work on fully funding education, by endorsing the passing of HB 1059. Read our full resolution: Marvista PTSA Levy Cliff Resolution 2017

Highline School District Bond Endorsed
At our October 12th, 2016 Open General Meeting, by a unanimous vote, the Marvista PTSA endorsed the Highline School Bond on the November 8, 2016 ballot. Read our full resolution here: marvistaptsaresolution_2016

Bond Resolution Signatures
In 2012, the Washington state Supreme Court ruled that the state legislature was not adequately funding K-12 public education. This ruling, called the McCleary decision, mandates that our state fully fund public education. However, little progress has been made by our state’s leaders. The Marvista PTSA voted and passed a resolution asking our state officials to provide the public school funding mandated by the Supreme Court.
