Volunteers in the Marvista Art Docent program introduce students to multi-cultural visual art using a variety of artistic techniques and media. Art lessons and frequency are determined by collaboration of the individual classroom teachers and the volunteers to integrate core curriculum studies with the Washington State content standards for art. New volunteers are always welcome, materials are provided, and no experience is necessary.
